I work in a shop at a dealership and this impact is amazing. It's my first impact wrench and I couldn't be happier. This impact has out performed my coworkers matco, snap on and Mac tools impacts at half the price and is alot quieter. I am looking in to purchasing a 3/8 impact from air cat. This is a amazing company I just wish they were sold on tool trucks.

Glad I didn't waste my money on a more expensive model, as other reviewers stated, this is the only one you will need. If you can't get it off with this wrench then someone way over torqued the nut. Gone are the days of hand rotating tires, did a complete tire rotation on my car in 10 minutes and without the resulting back pain the next day.
I had a little trouble with one lug nut on my car, but cranked up the output PSI on my 20 gallon husky compressor and off it came. It is very quiet and I almost wish it were louder so that I would know for sure it was working hard, but did everything I need it for.
Seems to be pretty durable, heavy enough to seem sturdy, and the materials seem to be of high quality.

I bought this gun after doing a lot of research and reading others reviews. I am a mechanic and use this multiple times a day. So far it has done the job well. Overall it has been great so far. Compared to my last cheap craftsman gun it is much better and is comparable to the ingersoll guns.

I OWNED 2 OTHER 1/2" IMPACT WRENCHES AND THE 2ND ONE FROM A LOCAL BOX STORE. I TRIED TO REMOVE A REAR BUMPER BOLT (FACTORY INSTALLED) AND FAILED. RESEARCHED AMAZON, AND FOUND THIS "AIRCAT" 1/2" COMPOSITE AND LIKED WHAT THE OWNERS HAD POSTED, BEING POWERFUL AND "REMOVING" BOLTS/NUTS EFFORTLESSLY. AFTER PURCHASING/RECEIVING IT FROM AMAZON, CONNECTED IT TO MY 26 GALLON ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR, I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE THESE "FROZEN LIKE" CAP BOLTS WITH THE FIRST TRIGGER PULL! WOW! REMOVED 4 CAP BOLTS IN A FEW MINUTES TIME.

I have a small 20 gallon compressor and two inexpensive impact wrenches of which neither could remove the lug nuts from tires. I always figured it was the compressor. I tried this one and with a quick burst and because it is very quiet, I figured like the rest it didn't work. Well, it removed them without any effort. This is an awesome tool that worked great with a small, under powered compressor.

I am a professional mechanic and use this tool everyday. So far it has performed very well and is comparable to my boss' $450 IR. Definitely recommended. Breaks lug nuts loose with ease along with axle nuts and rusted on items.

Surprising torque in a quiet gun! be prepared when you loosen a bolt, it'll fling it across your shop! I LOVE IT!!!

This Aircat replaced an IR 1/2" impact gun I had that could not even loosen a torqued lug nut. The Aircat zings them off like they weren't even torqued! It is so powerful and fast. I love this tool! The three range tightening torque settings are handy too, without it I'd be breaking bolts with the power this gun has on it's strongest setting. After getting this tool, I'd consider buying other Aircat products. This model is such a great tool.

This is one of the best tools, of the many, many, that I've ever bought. It is a half inch drive wrench that hits with a half ton of impact torque. Better yet all this torque and impact is adjustable so that your not whacking something unnecessarily hard when you don't need that kind of power. I'm very happy with the quality, feel and performance of this great little wrench. I've never owned an AirCat product before but am now a convert. I highly recommend this product and brand.

Used a heavy truck shop. Worked great for 2 years. Now very little power after using non stop for two years. Very quiet. Now purchased Air Cat 1200-k
